Cutie Mark Counselors

Everypony in Ponyville rejoiced upon this momentous occasion and the whole town was singing and dancing like never before during a pony's cute-ceanera.
For they had finally arrived, in a bright flash of magic..... the Cutie Mark Counselors!





It is done. The big fanart I said I will draw for Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle once their get their cutie marks to celebrate and honor them is finished.
The time has finally come. After a little more than 3 years and 1 month of searching for their cutie marks, their special talents and their meaning in life, the Cutie Mark Crusaders have finally gotten their cutie marks!
And I couldn't be more proud of them. When writing these lines, I'm already crying again and it is the 19th time now. I'm so happy for them that they have finally got their cutie marks!
I watched every step of them since they met and founded the Cutie Mark Crusaders and witnessed their everyday struggles to get their cutie marks; constantly trying and constantly failing in their attempts and constantly suffering from it that they didn't know what their special talents are and that they couldn't contribute anything to their society because of that.
And now this suffering is over for them and they finally know their destiny and meaning in life. And it's the most epic destiny a pony can imagine.
Their special talent is helping ponies to get their cutie marks, to find their own destinies. Nopony ever had a special talent like this. They are the first ones.
And the way they got their cutie marks..... This is unique too. A magical outburst happened when their marks appeared and this is once again something that never happened to a pony when it got its cutie mark before.
They are special and unique fillies. I don't know what the magical outburst means for them, but one thing is for sure..... These fillies are meant for higher things.
I always saw their potential and since Season 4, I said that something epic awaits them in their lives. And this magical outburst when they got their cutie marks confirmed it.
These fillies are meant for something higher than simply getting their cutie marks and then peacefully living their lives with their special talents.
Something rests in them, something big, a power of which they don't know about, and this power showed itself for the first time when they got their cutie marks.
I don't know what power this is or what it means for them, but one thing is clear:
An epic destiny awaits them. I can't wait to find out what it is. These fillies exceeded my wildest expectations for them by far. I love them and I can't wait to watch how their lives unfold from now on.





Drawing this fanart took a very, very, VERY long time. A long time that was marked by many trials and errors, redrawings, starting anew, corrections and trying to make it look absolutely perfect.
Cause that's what my three fillies deserve: Nothing less than perfection. Especially for the important goal they have finally reached.
I began to draw this fanart in the night right after they got their cutie marks and was almost constantly drawing it until now, minus time for sleep, food and toilet breaks and buying groceries.
I never put so much time and effort into a fanart before and what you see here is the pinnacle of what I can do in regards to MLP: FiM fanarts with my current skill level.
Only the best for the ponies that I love so much and so I was putting all time and effort necessary into this fanart of them and their cutie marks to make it grand. Time was not an issue.


Dedicated to the three best fillies and ponies that ever trotted on Equus' surface, to the most persistent and hard-working ponies ever and to the three ponies I love more than anyone else and who make my life bright with every word they say and every step they do. <3
