Do you still remember "Ask Princess Molestia" and how it got taken down?
Well, something similar is happening again now.
Jaxonians askblog "Ask Fapplebloom" got hit and shut down by Tumblr and it wasn't even the first time.
The reason according to Tumblr was, that his blog violated the community guidelines in regards to the "No inappropriate content involving minors" rule.
Now, it's true that his blog is basically about Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle who opened up a brothel in their clubhouse and who await all types of customers there.
But it was not violating the guidelines in any way, since the blog was not only purely satirical, but also never showed sex scenes.
More detailed than some suggestive language and scenes after the "action" (without visible genitals) did the blog never become.
There was never a single strip that showed "minors involved in something inappropriate".
Aside from this, the minors in his comic are horses from a cartoon show, which makes it kinda silly that Tumblr treats his blog as real child porn.
It's unfortunately one of these cases again where Tumblr just takes something down that disgusts the staff personally and where the rules get construed by Tumblr in favor of it's aversion against certain blogs.
What Tumblr does here is not something morally right, it's rather a suppression of freedom of expression as well of Jaxonian's artistic freedom with his blog.
Why do I write this journal now?
Jaxonian is asking for help in this case:
<da:thumb id="486066843"/>
He asks us to write to the Tumblr support and to speak up for his blog in hope to get it back.
If you're a fan of his blog, please write a message to the Tumblr support, tell them that you are not fine with it that his blog got shut down and demand that they backpedal on this and give him his blog back.
And even if you're not watching his blog, even if you have an aversion against Foalcon yourself, please think a moment about it and consider writing to Tumblr's support.
Tumblr is suppressing artists and doesn't even care about it's own rules; if it does not like a blog, it takes it down no matter if the blog is violating the rules or not.
With that unpredictability, it could happen to any blog; if you have a blog on your own, even yours could be the next.
But not if enough people show Tumblr that this behavior is not right and that it has to overthink it's policy about blogs.
And especially not if we show Tumblr that we don't just sit there and silently watch anymore.
Even if you don't approve of his blog's content personally, please step up for the freedom of artists on Tumblr by contacting their support.
You can contact the Tumblr support here:
www.tumblr.com/support
If you write the support, please make sure to emphasize on it why his blog is not violating the guidelines:
1. It's completely fictional.
2. It's only satirical.
3. Minors are not depicted in any inappropriate activities on his blog.
Please support Jaxonian and try to help him out of this desaster, he needs us now and it's a good deed for every other artist on Tumblr too!
Together we can do it! /)

Season 2 Episode 4: Scootaloo Eclipsed
Scootaloo has been eclipsed. I don't know what to say. Even writing this is hard. This is not my Deviantart anymore. This is not Deviantart anymore, PERIOD. The pony art is still left..... For however long that will be until Deviantart dies because its users and artists flee it..... But the environment has changed, the environment in which I looked at the pony art I love..... And I connect memories with this environment as well, not just with the pony art, but also with the environment that surrounds it..... Deviantart always had that nice classical design that I valued so much, the design of the early public Internet, before the rise of Web 2.0 made everything sleek and modern. Where other sites became modern and ugly and tasteless to look at, Deviantart kept its classical, traditional design. I always valued and treasured that highly. Now that design is gone and so are the memories connected to it..... Now I have to look at the pony art I love in a different setting and environment
MLP: FiM Finale Review: Where the Magic Happens
So, I guess it's time..... It's more than a month now and I can finally sit down and write a review for the very Finale of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic..... I needed a very long time for this. Accustoming to the end, dealing with it that it's over, coping with it..... I am still coping with it. And I am not sure if I am ready to write a review just yet. But it is an entire month now and I have seen the Finale ten times. So it's now or never.
I am not even sure if what will come out here at the end will be a review or if it should be called one..... But here are my thoughts and feelings about the Finale of My Little Pony: Friendship is
MLP: FiM Season 9 Finale - Live Reaction
The Season 9 Finale is a two-parter, with one epilogue afterwards. So, to avoid having to make a new journal entry after "The Ending of the End", I will write my reactions for all three episodes into the same journal entry and make dedicated spaces for the two-parter and the epilogue below.
The Ending of the End
- Chrysalis already starts with bringing them up against each other..... This will go bad very quick.
- What has the belll done with them?! Have they gotten stronger?!
- OOOOOOH! Cozy Glow became an alicorn!!!!!!!
- This is getting good.
- WHAT?! Discord?! What happened there?!
- WHAAAAAAAAT?! Discord was Grogar?! I said it was
The Daily Crusade
It is time. Time to reveal what I hinted at in my review for "Growing Up is Hard to Do", the last Cutie Mark Crusaders episode. My review for "The Big Mac Question" will come later, because first, I will talk about something far more important.
It's clear to me that, after "Growing Up is Hard to Do", I will probably never see Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle again (even though "The Big Mac Question" has thankfully proven me wrong, but it is unavoidable) and that I'll need something to keep feeling close to them, even though I can't see new events from their lives anymore. And it was immediately clear to me what that thing I need is.

I fully agree with the ideas Tumblr hates freedom of expression/Artist Freedom. I made my own post around your Journal/Fapplebloom getting terminated over posting Fiction stuff.
