Ok, here's something very exciting that I just saw when watching "The Crystalling" for the seventh time. I'm really psyched about this, because I'm sure no one else in the fandom has noticed that yet.
Have you taken a closer look at the antique vase Spike shows to Applejack and the others, including Starlight, while he explains the Crystalling? Here's a reminder:
Have you taken a closer look at the antique vase Spike shows to Applejack and the others, including Starlight, while he explains the Crystalling? Here's a reminder:
I stopped the video there and in the second before I wanted to continue it, my eyes fell on the pony that stands on the far left of the five blue ponies and I thought, without suspecting anything yet, "This pony looks a little bit like Pinkie Pie."
I hesitated with continuing with the episode because of that and then my eyes fell automatically on the pony to her right and I thought "And that one looks a little like Rainbow Dash."
And from there it went on. I looked at the pony at the upper right and recognized that it looks kinda like Applejack.
I was then unsure about the ponies in the lower row, but after some moments of thinking, my eyes fell on their flanks. First on the flank of the pony to the right, those three diamond-shaped symbols reminded me on Rarity's cutie mark and then I could suddenly see that her mane does make it seem like that's Rarity cause the way the mane is done does quite look like Rarity's style.
So, I figured that the pony left of her must be Fluttershy then and then I saw again the resemblance in the mane. At this moment, I was still thinking completely innocently and just noticed the similarities.
Then I looked at the Alicorn on the left with the baby in her hoof, and obviously I thought: "Ok and that pony here could be Twilight. Especially because of the mane, that really looks like Twilight's mane."
And then the scales fell from my eyes and a whole armada of lights went on in my head.
I looked over the five ponies on the right again, checking their manes and confirming that they really look like the manes of Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy and Rarity. Then I checked the races to see if they really fit, which they did, and then I checked the cutie marks. Then I was sure:
These are not just ponies who look like Twilight and her friends, these ARE Twilight and her friends!
See for yourself:
The pony that stands at the front of the five ponies on the right side has a mane that looks a lot like Pinkie's mane and it is an earth pony. And now look at its cutie mark. It shows three round shapes. And what is Pinkie's cutie mark? Three balloons and those balloons are round! Even the positions of the circles fit, as the balloons on Pinkie's cutie mark form a triangle, with one balloon at the top and two at the bottom.
The pony that looks like Rainbow Dash on the right of it is a pegasus and the small bit that can be seen of its cutie mark looks like lightning.
The pony at the front in the second row looks suspiciously like Fluttershy. It has a very long mane and unlike the other ponies who all seem to laugh loudly, this pony is just wearing a shy smile. It is a pegasus too and its cutie mark looks like a rudimentary depiction of butterflies.
The pony right from it has a more creative, complexly styled mane that required quite some effort to make from the looks of it, which is Rarity's metier, and the cutie mark is the aforementioned three gems.
Even the positions fit here, as Rarity's cutie mark has one gem at the top and two at the bottom, forming a triangle shape like Pinkie's balloons in her cutie mark, and that's how the three objects are positioned on the cutie mark of this pony. Additionally, it is a unicorn.
The pony on the far left that is the Crystaller is an Alicorn and the part of its mane that hangs around its horn looks exactly like the same part of Twilight's mane. Even the color of this pony closely resembles Twilight's coat color.
Only the pony on the far right is not completely clear, as its cutie mark can't be seen and also not if it has wings or not, but by the looks and details of the rest of the ponies on the vase, it's more than safe to say that this pony looks like Applejack. Even the look of the mane is very close to Applejack's mane.
This is quite an overwhelming evidence here and way too many commonalities that it could be a coincidence. The cutie marks of the ponies who look like Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy can be better seen on the second screenshot I made just a moment later. You can clearly see that the lightning comes out of a cloud there:

So what does this all mean now? These ponies on the vase are clearly depictions of Twilight and her friends, there's no doubt about that. And we know that the vase is antique and probably thousands of years old, as the Crystalling for Flurry Heart is the first one held in the Empire since its return. Here's what I think:
At some point, Twilight and her friends will make a time travel into Equestria's past and visit the ancient Crystal Empire there to fix some problem that occured there. And while they were there, a new royal foal was born and since Twilight and her friends made contact with the royal family, probably to assist with whatever threatens the Empire of the past, they were invited to the Crystalling and Twilight was chosen as the Crystaller.
During the ceremony, they were watched by a pony who wanted to immortalize the ceremony in form of a picture on a vase and since Twilight was the Crystaller and because her friends stuck out to the pony in some way or maybe because they stood at the front during the ceremony, the pony making the vase drew all six of them on it.
Somehow, the vase survived the thousands and thousands of years and when Spike did his research about the Crystalling ceremony, he stumbled upon this vase and was able to acquire it, so he brought it with him to the castle to use it as a demonstration of the ceremony.
This time travel theory gets further supported by it that there is now a pony in their team who can do that because she already altered a spell to make extensive time travels possible and also because the map in Twilight's castle has proven to be capable of sending ponies through time when the right spell is used on it.
Additionally, there were just recently hints by the show staff that Starswirl the Bearded is going to be in Season 6. So, there are definitely enough ways for them to make such a time travel thousands of years back into the past.
I don't know when this time travel is going to happen or if it's even soon, but if I'm right with my theory, and as detailed above there's heavy evidence supporting it, we will see Twilight and her friends doing a time travel and visit the Crystal Empire in ancient times one day!

Season 2 Episode 4: Scootaloo Eclipsed
Scootaloo has been eclipsed. I don't know what to say. Even writing this is hard. This is not my Deviantart anymore. This is not Deviantart anymore, PERIOD. The pony art is still left..... For however long that will be until Deviantart dies because its users and artists flee it..... But the environment has changed, the environment in which I looked at the pony art I love..... And I connect memories with this environment as well, not just with the pony art, but also with the environment that surrounds it..... Deviantart always had that nice classical design that I valued so much, the design of the early public Internet, before the rise of Web 2.0 made everything sleek and modern. Where other sites became modern and ugly and tasteless to look at, Deviantart kept its classical, traditional design. I always valued and treasured that highly. Now that design is gone and so are the memories connected to it..... Now I have to look at the pony art I love in a different setting and environment
MLP: FiM Finale Review: Where the Magic Happens
So, I guess it's time..... It's more than a month now and I can finally sit down and write a review for the very Finale of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic..... I needed a very long time for this. Accustoming to the end, dealing with it that it's over, coping with it..... I am still coping with it. And I am not sure if I am ready to write a review just yet. But it is an entire month now and I have seen the Finale ten times. So it's now or never.
I am not even sure if what will come out here at the end will be a review or if it should be called one..... But here are my thoughts and feelings about the Finale of My Little Pony: Friendship is
MLP: FiM Season 9 Finale - Live Reaction
The Season 9 Finale is a two-parter, with one epilogue afterwards. So, to avoid having to make a new journal entry after "The Ending of the End", I will write my reactions for all three episodes into the same journal entry and make dedicated spaces for the two-parter and the epilogue below.
The Ending of the End
- Chrysalis already starts with bringing them up against each other..... This will go bad very quick.
- What has the belll done with them?! Have they gotten stronger?!
- OOOOOOH! Cozy Glow became an alicorn!!!!!!!
- This is getting good.
- WHAT?! Discord?! What happened there?!
- WHAAAAAAAAT?! Discord was Grogar?! I said it was
The Daily Crusade
It is time. Time to reveal what I hinted at in my review for "Growing Up is Hard to Do", the last Cutie Mark Crusaders episode. My review for "The Big Mac Question" will come later, because first, I will talk about something far more important.
It's clear to me that, after "Growing Up is Hard to Do", I will probably never see Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle again (even though "The Big Mac Question" has thankfully proven me wrong, but it is unavoidable) and that I'll need something to keep feeling close to them, even though I can't see new events from their lives anymore. And it was immediately clear to me what that thing I need is.

I also noticed the uncanny resemblance to the Mane Six, but I'm not so sure if it equates to time travel. Starlight and Twilight have an expertise in time travel, and Sunburst is amazing at finding and combining relevant spells. But both Twilight and Starlight are keenly aware of how dangerous time travel can be, and I think the show staff would be heavily criticized by reusing time travel as a motif for the finale two seasons in a row, which may make them rethink it. Besides, I think it would be rather dull to have both the premiere and finale of S6 to take place in the Crystal Empire. Perhaps instead of revisiting the Crystal Empire, they might devise a spell to talk to Starswirl because he's the only one who knows how to solve a certain problem that may arise in the finale? Who knows? I'm pretty sure that Chrysalis will be involved in the finale. No matter what, I'll still be very excited for the finale. ^^
